The Comprehensive Health Research Centre (CHRC) is a new multidisciplinary, multi-institutional research centre that aims to support, develop and foster clinical, public health and health services research.
The CHRC was classified as “Excellent” out of the 21 units evaluated in the Public Health panel by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia).
The CHRC is based at Nova Medical School, Nova University of Lisbon and its partners include the Lisbon Institute of Global Mental Health, the National School of Public Health, Évora University and Hospital de Santo Espírito.
José Miguel Caldas Almeida from LIGMH is the Principal Investigator of the Global and Population Mental Health Group, under the Thematic Line “Health policies and healthcare services research”.
