The MH Rights project – Integrated Program for the Promotion of the Human Rights of People with Mental Illness was presented today in the Mental Talk – Lisbon in Network for Mental Health, which took place at the Lisbon Forum on October 18, 2019 with the aim of reflecting and discussing the following topics:
- Compulsory hospitalization: context and procedures
- Law No. 49/2019 “Greater accompanied”: Practical application of the law
This awareness-raising action was organized by the Lisbon Social Network/Working Group – Intervention in areas of greatest vulnerability – Mental Health of CLAS-Lx (Local Council of Social Action of Lisbon) and had as technical addressees, people with experience of mental illness and informal caregivers (family members and/or others).
